In mathematics, "differentiation" refers to a
process of finding the rate at which a function changes. More precisely, it's a
technique used to calculate the derivative of a function with respect to one or
more of its variables.
The derivative of a function at a certain point gives you
the slope of the function's graph at that point. It tells you how the function
is changing at that specific point, whether it's increasing, decreasing, or
staying constant.
Differentiation is a fundamental concept in calculus and is used in various fields such as physics, engineering, economics, and many others to analyze rates of change, optimize functions, and solve various problems.
